Lodgify Alternatives for Hosts with 1–5 Properties
Mis à jour le 30 octobre 20266 min de lecture
Ce guide n'est disponible qu'en anglais pour le moment.

Lodgify is a solid all-in-one platform: website builder, booking engine with online payments, and a channel manager in one subscription. For many hosts it's a good choice. But if you only have one to five properties and mainly want a place to send past guests, you may be paying for more than you use.
This guide explains why small hosts look for a Lodgify alternative, who should stay, which alternatives fit which needs, and how to switch without losing a booking.
Prices and features change often. This guide reflects what we know as of October 2026. Check each vendor's current pricing page before deciding.
Why small hosts look for alternatives
These are the reasons we hear most. Not all of them will apply to you.
Paying for features you don't use
Lodgify bundles a multi-page website, online payments, a channel manager and integrations. If you only use the booking page and calendar sync, much of the subscription goes to features you never touch.
Cost per property as you grow
Like most tools in this space, Lodgify's price rises with the number of properties. Going from one to four properties can noticeably change your yearly bill. Work out your total cost at the size you expect to be next year, not just today.
Fees on direct bookings
Several reviews report that some Lodgify plans add a small fee on direct reservations, while others don't. Plans change, so check the current pricing page. If a fee applies, add it to your yearly cost, because it scales with your direct revenue.
Complexity
A powerful system has more settings. Some hosts want a page they can set up in an afternoon and forget, rather than a dashboard they need to learn.
What Lodgify does well, and who should stay
To be fair, Lodgify is strong in several areas:
- Full websites. Multi-page sites with templates, your own domain and room to grow.
- Online payments. Guests can pay by card when they book, with deposits handled automatically.
- Channel manager. Rates and availability pushed to platforms through official connections.
- All in one place. One login for website, bookings, calendar and messages.
Stay with Lodgify if you use the channel manager to manage rates across platforms, or have built a full website you actively maintain. Switching would cost you more than it saves.
The main Lodgify alternatives, by need
Simplest booking page: OpenSty
OpenSty gives each property its own booking page at yourname.opensty.com with a live calendar, iCal sync with Airbnb, Booking.com and VRBO, seasonal and per-day pricing, cleaning and pet fees, a damage deposit and minimum nights. Pages are available in seven languages. Guests send a request and you confirm or decline each one. Card payments are optional, through your own Stripe account, with no OpenSty fee.
- Pricing: flat plans with no commission. €14/month for one property, €29/month for up to five, €99/month for up to 50 with team members. Setup is free.
- Good for: hosts who want direct bookings from past guests and referrals without running a website.
- Not for you if: you need a channel manager or instant booking.
Channel manager plus booking site: Smoobu
Smoobu combines a channel manager, a unified calendar and inbox, and a booking website with online payments. It's popular with European hosts.
- Pricing: monthly plans that grow with the number of units; some plan types include a fee on bookings.
- Good for: hosts who want Lodgify-style channel management in a different package.
Messaging automation: Hospitable
Hospitable is best known for automating guest messages and reviews, and it also offers direct booking sites.
- Pricing: subscription based on properties; check current plans.
- Good for: hosts whose biggest pain is messaging, especially on Airbnb.
Deep features: OwnerRez
OwnerRez is a very feature-rich property management system with detailed pricing rules, quotes, payments, rental agreements and many integrations.
- Pricing: subscription that grows with properties, plus optional add-ons.
- Good for: owner-operators who want maximum control and don't mind a learning curve.
DIY: WordPress plus a booking plugin
Build your own site with WordPress, a theme and a booking plugin.
- Pricing: hosting plus theme and plugin licences.
- Good for: hosts who enjoy building and want to invest in content and SEO, and accept the maintenance.

How to decide
- List what you use today. Open your Lodgify account and note the features you touched in the last three months.
- Price your current setup. Add the subscription and any booking or payment fees for a full year.
- Estimate what direct bookings are worth. The commission calculator shows how much moving nights from platforms to direct saves you.
- Pick the simplest tool that covers your list. If you don't need payments or a channel manager, don't pay for them.

How to switch without losing a booking
Moving tools is mostly about calendars and links. Take it step by step.
- Set up the new tool first. Copy your descriptions, photos, prices, fees, minimum stays and house rules. Keep your old account active.
- Connect calendars both ways. Import your Airbnb, Booking.com and other platform calendars into the new tool by iCal, and add the new tool's export link to your platforms. Our guide to avoiding double bookings covers this.
- Block existing direct bookings. Enter every future direct booking from the old system in the new calendar, or import the old system's iCal feed temporarily.
- Run both in parallel for a few weeks. Keep both calendars synced while you update your links, so nothing slips through.
- Update your links. Social bios, local listings, email signature, printed cards and QR codes.
- Handle existing guests carefully. Finish bookings already taken in the old system there, especially if payments or deposits went through it.
- Cancel the old subscription last, once all future stays are covered and your links point to the new page.
Common questions
Will I lose my Lodgify website's Google ranking?
If your Lodgify site ranks for searches, moving to a new address can lose some of that traffic. Most small hosts get few bookings from Google search, but check your analytics before switching.
Can I keep my own domain?
With most full website tools, yes. OpenSty also lets you connect a domain you own, on every plan, or you can use a short opensty.com address.
How do guests pay on a simple booking page?
It depends on the tool. On OpenSty you choose per property. Connect your own Stripe account and guests pay by card, authorised with the request and charged when you confirm. Or arrange payment directly, usually a deposit by bank transfer to confirm and the balance before arrival. Clear written terms make either one smooth.
How long does switching take?
Setting up a simple booking page takes an afternoon. Allow a few weeks of running both systems in parallel before you cancel the old one.
